Rae Gilmore is a fantasy author, lifelong daydreamer, and unapologetic resident of her own imagination. She has always been drawn to stories that open the door to somewhere else, especially worlds filled with magic, adventure, complicated characters, and heroines who discover they are capable of far more than they ever imagined.
When she isn't writing, Rae is usually gaming, reading, or disappearing down the rabbit hole of whatever new idea has taken over her brain. Whether she's building a fictional kingdom, creating a character, exploring a game world, or plotting a story when she should probably be sleeping, imagination is where she feels most at home.
